This is an older version. It is no longer maintained; the current version 1.147.0 is recommended.
A release without any new or changed function. It reorganises the inner structure of the application: a few very large building blocks have become many small ones with clear responsibilities. Nothing changes about how you work, about your files or about your settings. The benefit shows in the releases to come, because what is well ordered can be extended faster and checked more thoroughly.
- This version deliberately brings no new function and changes none of the existing ones. You see and operate the application exactly as before; your files, areas and settings remain untouched.
- The structure of the application had grown over more than a hundred releases, and individual parts had become very large along the way. They are now split into manageable units, each with one clear task, and grouped by subject. That shortens the path from an idea to a finished function and makes faults easier to pin down.
- A rebuild of this size must not rely on assurances. Every single step had to pass the same checks as the state before it, and at the most delicate places a machine additionally counted that nothing was lost or duplicated.
